Profile

Kazuyoshi Tsuchiya received Ph.D. from Centre for Nanotechnology and Micro engineering, School of Engineering, the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, in 1999. Lecturer (Satellite, Venture Business Laboratory Researcher), Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ibaraki University in 1999, Post Doctoral fellow, Bio Venture Center, Osaka Institute of Technology in 2001.
He joined the Department of Precision Engineering as an assistant professor in Tokai University in 2005, became an associate professor in 2007 and a professor in 2014. He has researched as a senior visiting fellow at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom since April 2012.
His current research interests are producing a biocompatible microneedle and piezoelectric thin film and sensor in microscopic region for BioMEMS.
